Bobby Flay's Curried Corn and Clam Chowder
One of my favorite cookbooks (Bobby Flay, Bold American Food) and one of my favorite "festive" meals - Don't be afraid to use oysters. I've even made it with grilled shrimp and lobster. It's even better the next day and sit's nicely atop stone ground grits or even better sits next to Erica's Joy of Cooking cheese grit souffle´ (which for some odd reason is not in our edition of Joy of Cooking)
